POS Terminal: An internationally used term for a “Point of Sale” device, a payment terminal in retail.
POS Device: Less commonly used, but generally describes hardware for payment transactions at point of sale locations.
In practice, “card terminal,” “payment terminal,” and “POS terminal” are often used synonymously, while “card reader” is more broadly defined.

Das Nexgo N86 ist das modernste POS-Terminal von Payrexx und dank dem integrierten Belegdrucker überall einsetzbar. Es ist das grösste aller Payrexx Terminals und damit ideal für den stationären Handel.
Das Nexgo N6 erinnert von der Grösse her an ein Smartphone und passt damit perfekt in jede Hosentasche. Hier können allerdings keine Belege gedruckt werden und die Batterie ist etwas weniger leistungsstark. Entsprechend eignet sich dieses Kartenlesegerät für mobile Händler:innen, die nicht auf Quittungen angewiesen sind.

How much does a card reader cost?
Der Mietpreis für ein Payrexx Kartenlesegerät beträgt standardmässig 25 CHF pro Monat. Durch den speziellen Einführungspreis senken sich diese Kosten für die ersten Nutzer:innen im ersten Mietjahr auf 9 CHF pro Monat.
Die Transaktionskosten betragen 0.95 % + 0.15 CHF für Debitkarten, 1.25 % + 0.15 CHF für Kreditkarten und 1.25 % + 0.00 CHF für TWINT-Zahlungen. Bei Interzahlungen betragen die Gebühren 3.1 % + 0.15 CHF.

Kann ich Payrexx Tap to Pay auf meinem iPhone installieren?
No, unfortunately not.
This is not due to Payrexx, but to Apple: The company has not yet enabled the payment technology in its smartphones for Switzerland. As soon as Apple takes this step, Payrexx will also make Tap to Pay available for all iPhones.
