Why is my Lector de tarjetas no longer free of charge?
Your Payrexx terminal was part of a special promotion where the device remains free of charge starting from a certain minimum turnover. Since your turnover in recent months was below this limit, the agreed regulation for further use applies.
With your confirmation, you can now continue to use your terminal flexibly for 25 EUR per month – without any interruption to your physical store business.
What exactly are the terms of use for free devices?
The following points apply to Payrexx card readers from a free promotion:
A minimum volume of 2'500 EUR per month must be processed via the device.
If this volume is not reached in 3 consecutive months, Payrexx can request the return of the device.
Alternatively, the device can be rented for a monthly fee of 25 EUR.
How exactly does the billing for the device work?
Billing will start on November 1, 2026. At the end of each year, you will receive an invoice by email, through which you can pay the accumulated amount for all outstanding months.

Can I still return the device later?
Yes. A minimum contract period of 12 months from the original shipping date applies to our card readers. After this period, you can terminate the rental at any time, subject to the notice period, and return the device to us. Please contact our support team directly for this.
What alternatives do I have for accepting payments on-site?
Payrexx offers various flexible solutions for on-site payments:
Tap to Pay: Turns your smartphone directly into a terminal. You collect payments completely without additional devices and can also use the function with the free Payrexx subscription.
QR Pay: Your customers simply scan a QR code and pay directly (e.g. via TWINT or credit card). Ideal for uncomplicated payments.
Buy device instead of renting: In addition to the Nexgo N86, we offer other terminals. You can, for example, buy the Nexgo N910 Pro for a one-off payment of 599 EUR – this completely eliminates a monthly rent.
Will my terminal become free of charge again if my turnover increases again later?
No, the change to the monthly rent of 25 EUR is permanent. A switch back to the free promotional model is not possible. However, you can continue to use your device flexibly or terminate it in compliance with the notice period.
I would prefer to return the device after all – what are the next steps?
If you decide against the rental, simply go back to your email and click the button “Return device”. You will then immediately receive all instructions as well as a return label for free return shipping.
