The NetzCourage team fights for a dignified mutual interaction in the digital space by raising awareness and supporting hundreds of affected individuals annually with the project #NetzAmbulanz – from managing social media profiles to comparison or court hearings.

Victims of digital violence are supported 24/7 for free, regardless of their social status, beliefs, or the stories they carry in their backpacks. The organization also focuses on prevention and organizes workshops in schools, organizations, and companies.

The Lebenshof TierMensch provides animals with a species-appropriate place to live. Among the farm animals are those that nobody wanted anymore, those that were neglected, or those that would have been slaughtered. Many come from factory farming or were exploited for human use. At Lebenshof TierMensch, they no longer have to experience this but are respected as individuals.

Supporters can help the association with food donations, care vouchers, or animal sponsorships. Especially in winter, large quantities of straw are needed to keep all lounging areas warm and cozy, as well as large amounts of hay because there is not enough grass in the pastures, and the animals need to be supplemented with hay.

The Animal Protection Foundation TBB

The Animal Protection Foundation TBB Switzerland aims to safeguard and promote the interests of animals and animal protection. Its main task is to protect all animals from suffering, inadequate housing, and misuse. The foundation pursues various national and regional animal protection and education projects with a focus on child and youth animal protection. It operates a contact point for missing and found animals and collaborates with the Swiss Animal Reporting Center STMZ in this regard. Up to 250 reports of inadequate housing conditions are received annually at the animal protection consultancy, all of which are followed up.

In the animal home on the Birs, abandoned, injured, neglected, and confiscated animals are cared for and catered to 365 days a year. To ensure the diverse animal protection work, the foundation relies on donations, sponsorships, and patronages, which also make a meaningful Christmas gift for both humans and animals.

EMAUA – reforestation in Kenya

EMAUA is a Swiss-Kenyan project aimed at planting one million native trees annually in the tropics by 2025. The aim is to create a scalable model for reforestation with native and diverse trees in populated areas of the tropics that simultaneously improves the standard of living of local communities.

The mature plants are distributed free of charge to rural communities, and farmers receive training on the importance of native trees. Incentives are created to promote the best survival rates for the trees, such as building improved stoves that reduce families' firewood consumption by 66%. From December to January, EMAUA runs a crowdfunding campaign to raise new finance to support the project.
