At Payrexx, the costs for online donations consist of two components: depending on the plan, a fixed subscription fee and transaction-based fees per donation. The amount of these transaction costs depends on the chosen payment method. With External provider like PayPal or Stripe, additional fees may incur depending on the subscription. All terms are clearly defined, and the Dashboard provides an overview of payments, revenues, active subscriptions, and other important metrics.
Communicate fees openly and strengthen trust among donors
Transparent fee communication creates clarity and reduces inquiries. Ideally, explain directly on your donation page or in your FAQ that the costs are composed of the rate, payment method, and transaction type. This way, donors know from the start how the payment processing works and that all fees are clearly documented.
