Creating a TWINT QR code is quick and easy thanks to Payrexx's QR tool. For the Comerciante, the function is very secure and risk-free. The Comerciante assumes no risk.

What happens if someone does not pay?

As soon as the customer makes a purchase via TWINT “Pay Later” at the Händler, Swissbilling immediately pays out the money to the Comerciante and assumes the default risk. i.e., if the customer does not pay, then the risk is borne by Swissbilling. The customer is then reminded and, if necessary, also admonished. For the Comerciante, the function is therefore very secure and risk-free.

How can I, as a Merchant, deactivate the later payment with TWINT or terminate the contract?
Will all customers be able to use the "Pay later" feature in the TWINT app?

The option to pay later will be offered to all TWINT users in the app, provided they are of legal age and reside in Switzerland. Additional conditions may be determined by the respective TWINT app publishers. The TWINT partner company Swissbilling also conducts further checks, particularly a credit check.

Do I need to specify "Pay Later" with TWINT as an additional payment option in my online shop?

You do not need to make any changes to your webshop to offer this feature. Your customers decide directly when paying in the TWINT app whether the transaction will be paid immediately or later.

Who pays the fees?

The fees for using this solution are covered by the Comerciante. The option “Pay later” is free of charge for users of TWINT.
