Payrexx integrates Click to Pay with Visa in QR Pay
Together with Visa, Payrexx is optimizing its popular QR code payment solution: With Click to Pay, you can pay with just a few clicks without having to enter your card details. To celebrate the partnership, Payrexx is also significantly reducing transaction costs.

Payrexx QR Pay is the popular QR code payment solution from Payrexx, which enables flexible on-site collection. The QR code can simply be scanned with a cell phone camera and linked to over 200 different payment methods.
The payment function Click to Pay with Visa has been integrated into Payrexx QR Pay so that customers no longer have to enter their data manually. Instead, they register their Visa cards once for Click to Pay and then pay with just a few clicks - without having to remember a password.
Payrexx lowers fees: Until April 2026, merchants will pay only 1.25 % per transaction for all common Swiss payment methods that they use via Payrexx QR Pay, at no additional cost.
Click to Pay with Visa is a game changer when it comes to speed in the online payment process: whereas customers were previously often forced to laboriously type in their credit or debit card details, a one-off registration is now sufficient. Customers are automatically recognized in the checkout and can simply select the stored cards and pay directly - all with just a few clicks.
A simplicity that will also benefit the QR Pay solution from the national payment provider Payrexx in future. Payrexx QR Pay works in a similar way to what the Swiss are already used to with TWINT: Simply scan the QR code with your cell phone and pay. However, the Payrexx solution goes one step further. Instead of just using an app, these QR codes can be scanned directly with the smartphone camera and a variety of payment methods can be stored. This makes Payrexx QR Pay flexible to use and particularly attractive for merchants with an international clientele.
The biggest problem with this innovative solution: anyone who previously wanted to pay with a credit or debit card via Payrexx QR Pay had to type in their card details manually - a time-consuming hurdle that Payrexx is now overcoming together with Visa. Thanks to the integration of Click to Pay, registered customers can now also pay quickly and easily with their card via QR code.

Exclusive transaction fees
In order to best establish the improved QR Pay solution from Payrexx with both existing and new merchants, a one-year promotion was launched together with Visa. As part of this, Payrexx is reducing transaction costs to a low 1.25 % + CHF 0.00 per payment - for all relevant Swiss payment methods! Payrexx QR Pay not only works with Visa, but also with Mastercard, TWINT, Apple Pay and Google Pay. In addition, a further 200 national and international payment methods can be stored, including PayPal, Klarna, POWERPAY and Centi.
As a small payment provider with regional roots that started out as a start-up and worked its way up, Payrexx is particularly interested in small companies. Accordingly, the Thun-based payment provider has mainly focused on SMEs, non-profit organizations, clubs and associations in recent years. The aim is to make it as easy as possible for all these companies to accept payments - regardless of their capital or expertise.
