Payrexx Release Notes May-2022.05
Every month, Payrexx presents you with the release notes with new and exciting functions and enhancements. In addition, we present various optimizations that have been implemented for all Payrexx users.
In this article, you will learn more about the latest news on Payrexx Direct and get to know a new payment provider and new payment functions of previous payment methods.
Functions
Payrexx Direct for Luxembourg
Previously, the payment provider Payrexx Direct was available for Switzerland, Germany, Liechtenstein, the UK, Denmark, Austria, Italy, France and the Netherlands. Merchants from Luxembourg can now also benefit from the advantages of this payment provider.
Payrexx Direct offers popular payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay.
New payment provider Boncard
Boncard* offers its customers gift and loyalty cards and is available as a new external payment provider in Payrexx.
*Boncard is only available in Switzerland.
Tokenization for PayPal
Tokenization* is now also available for the payment provider PayPal.
Tokenization is a process in which it is checked that the amount can be debited from the customer's account. The expiration date and card number are checked, but no credit limits are requested.
Optimizations
Filter for transaction history via API
You can now filter the transaction history by API key and time via the Merchant:inside API.
Export of user-defined fields
Retailers now have the option of selecting user-defined fields such as "Subscribe to newsletter?" in the Pages and Donation Tool for the export. These export fields can then be selected for an export under "Custom export fields".
Apply for SEPA Direct
For security reasons, the SEPA payment method has been deactivated in the payment provider Payrexx Direct. Merchants who would still like to use the payment method can apply for it under Payment provider > Payrexx Direct. You can find detailed instructions in our support system.
Plugins
Magento 2
The detailed shopping cart from the Magento online store is now transferred to Payrexx when the gateway is created. This means that a detailed list of the shopping cart is also available in Payrexx.
In order to make the payment solution accessible to as many merchants as possible, Payrexx offers a large selection of plugins for the most popular store systems such as Shopware, WooCommerce, MyCommerce, PrestaSop and others.
In addition to the mentioned functions and optimizations, some bug fixes have also been made to optimize usability.
