Scope
This statement applies to all payment pages provided by Payrexx. Our merchants use these pages, for example, to receive payments from customers.
Compliance with the requirements
The payment pages are largely barrier-free and are based on the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, compliance level AA.
However, there are occasional restrictions:
Individual color contrasts, especially with colors selected individually by merchants, cannot be ensured system-side. The responsibility for sufficiently high-contrast color combinations lies with the merchants. In a few areas, additional ARIA labels to better support screen readers are currently still missing.
Accessibility measures
Our payment pages have been developed with the goal of being as simple, understandable, and accessible as possible.
The implemented measures include:
- Keyboard operability of all content and forms
- Clear labeling for all input fields
- Compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies
- Avoidance of flashing or moving content
