This is Payrexx
Payrexx was founded in 2015 in Thun and specialises as a payment institution in the processing of digital payment methods. The Swiss company operates a self-developed payment platform as a registered payment facilitator of Mastercard and VISA. More than 40,000 customers across Europe process their payments via the cloud-based platform. The range includes regionally strong enterprises such as BKW, Swiss Youth Hostels and Swissmilk, as well as large corporations like SBB, Swiss Post and Swisscom.
The platform unites over 40 payment providers and more than 200 payment methods and currencies from all over the world through a single interface. Payrexx is the only provider in Switzerland to offer the payment methods TWINT, PostFinance, Mastercard, VISA, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay from a single source with an acceptance contract.
In a representative survey of online merchants conducted by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), the use of Payment Service Providers (PSP) by the participating respondents for processing online transactions was assessed. As a result of evaluating the responses from all Swiss comerciantes, it was established that 25% of all online shops choose and trust Payrexx as their PSP. This makes Payrexx the second most popular payment provider for Swiss online comerciantes. This placement illustrates that Payrexx fully meets the needs and requirements of Swiss SMEs for a payment provider, both with its offering and its approach to work and communication.
All systems of Payrexx are redundantly designed, ensure maximum fault tolerance, and are certified according to the strictest PCI-DSS Level-1 guidelines.
