PostFinance Pay

PostFinance Pay is the online payment method of Swiss Post, allowing PostFinance account holders to pay directly from their e-banking — without a credit card.

PostFinance Pay

PostFinance Pay (formerly PostFinance E-Finance) is an online payment method from PostFinance — the largest retail bank in Switzerland with over 2.5 million customers. Buyers select PostFinance Pay at checkout, are redirected to the PostFinance login page, confirm the payment and are redirected back to the shop.

For Swiss online shops, PostFinance Pay is an important addition to credit cards and TWINT, as a large part of the Swiss population has a PostFinance account. The payment is processed as a bank transfer — the amount is debited directly from the buyer's PostFinance account.

PostFinance Pay is a purely Swiss payment method and is only available to PostFinance account holders. It is not an option for the German or Austrian market. Transaction fees are 1.50–1.90% + EUR 0.20 — between TWINT and credit cards.
