A Payment Link with the exact amount is created in the Payrexx Dashboard and sent to the patient via SMS or WhatsApp. The patient clicks the link, selects TWINT and pays. Advantage: The amount is predefined – no input error possible. Online Standard fee: 1.25% + EUR 0.18. Ideal for variable amounts after the session.

Variant C: TWINT via Tap to Pay Android

With the Payrexx Tap to Pay App on an NFC-enabled Android smartphone, TWINT can be triggered directly in the app. Patients hold their smartphone to the therapist's Android device. Fee: 1.25% + EUR 0.00. iPhone is not supported. Good for practices that already have an Android device and use Tap to Pay for card payments.

• Create a Payrexx account (free, 30-day trial period, no credit card required)

• Create a new QR code in the Dashboard under 'QR Pay'

• Enter your practice name and an optional purpose of payment

• Download the QR code and print it in high quality (min. A6 format)

• Laminate it and display it clearly in the practice – at the reception, on the treatment table or at the checkout

• Carry out a first test payment with your own TWINT

Recommendation: Print the QR code in two sizes – a large one for the reception area and a small laminated one to take with you on home visits or mobile deployments.

4. TWINT refunds and bookkeeping
