New functions
New means of payment Reka-Card
The Reka-Card payment method is now available in Payrexx Swiss Collecting. Reka Money is one of the most popular payment methods in Switzerland for vacations, leisure, mobility and much more. The Reka-Card enables cashless payment with Reka Money in online stores and numerous acceptance points in Switzerland.
The integration of the Reka-Card enables you to reach even more customers and offer them a reliable and convenient payment method. Whether hotel, online store, booking platform, restaurant or amusement park - with the Reka-Card you can make your services and products accessible to an even wider audience.
To apply for the Reka payment method, go to your administration under Payment provider > Payrexx Swiss Collecting > Means of payment and activate Reka.
Optimizations
Pre-authorizations on the basis of tokenizations
It is now possible to create a pre-authorization based on tokenization.
What does this mean: A tokenization is a stored means of payment that can be debited at will via the merchant backend or the merchant API. It is now also possible to make a pre-authorization instead of a direct debit. This means that the amount is not debited directly, but only reserved.
This pre-authorization is then visible in the merchant administration under "Pre-authorizations" and can be debited there.
You can find out how to create a tokenization or pre-authorization in our documentation
Notification of overpayment of an invoice
If a customer makes an overpayment for the payment method purchase on account, merchants are notified again by e-mail and can process the payment themselves and correct the error.
Possible reasons for an overpayment are
An incorrect amount was entered in e-banking during the transfer.
A customer entered an incorrect reference number when making the payment.
The invoice was paid twice.
In the event of an overpayment, we recommend clarifying the situation directly with the customer as quickly as possible in order to make any necessary refunds or corrections.
Identification of transactions in payouts
Each payout to you has an associated identification number, which is now displayed in the transaction detail views for each transaction paid out. This means you know which transaction was paid out in which payout.
The payout identification number is displayed in the transaction detail view(Payments > Transactions > Show) below "Payrexx fees" (correspondingly also in the webhook and in the API).
This only applies to transactions via Payrexx Swiss Collecting and Payrexx Direct.
In addition to the mentioned functions and optimizations, bug fixes have also been made to optimize the usability of the Payrexx platform.
