All payment methods, just one sticker: Payrexx expands the QR codes from TWINT

Fewer and fewer people are paying with cash these days. Shopping locally has to be quick, uncomplicated and global - and preferably with your own smartphone. This is shown, for example, by the IGEM Digimonitor 2023, the annual study by the Interest Group for Electronic Media Switzerland: 64% of the Swiss population use mobile payment services such as TWINT, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay.
To make this trend accessible to every type of business, the Thun-based start-up Payrexx has developed a new payment solution using QR codes - Payrexx QR Pay. The basic principle is similar to that of TWINT: QR codes can be individually created by merchants and offered to customers for payment. However, Payrexx significantly expands this well-known and popular payment process. The QR codes from Payrexx can not only be scanned via the TWINT app, but also directly with the smartphone camera.
This offers two decisive advantages. Firstly, an app is no longer required, so the QR codes can be used by anyone and everyone - including guests from abroad. Payrexx therefore offers the ideal solution for organizations with international customers. Secondly, Payrexx QR codes provide access to a wide range of payment methods. Customers can choose whether they prefer to pay by credit or debit card, with a mobile payment provider such as Apple Pay or Samsung Pay, or with international payment methods such as Alipay, WeChat Pay or giropay.
New: Free stickers and table stands
Payrexx QR Pay is already being used by many different companies throughout Switzerland. In particular, businesses that rely on self-service, i.e. have no staff on site, enjoy the simplicity and autonomy of QR codes.
