Planyo

The online booking system Planyo can be connected to Payrexx so that guests can pay for their reservation directly during the booking process. You can demand the total amount or a deposit and also allow bookings without payment. The setup is described in the Payrexx documentation.

First, you create an API key in the Payrexx Comerciante administration under "API and Integrations" and then set up a webhook for planyo under "Webhooks". After that, you log into the planyo admin area, open "Quick setup" in the left main menu and activate Payrexx as a payment provider in the "Online payment" section.

The webhook URL must be exactly https://www.planyo.com/payment-payrexx-ipn.php so that Payrexx can transmit transaction notifications to Planyo. Select the format "JSON" as the webhook content type. Without a correctly configured webhook, the payment status in Planyo will not be updated.

Planyo supports both the charging of the total amount and down payments, which you define as a partial amount of the reservation. This is common for holiday apartments, seminar rooms, or yacht charters, where a reservation fee is due upon booking and the remainder is paid on site or later.

The payment function can be configured so that reservations are possible either with or without prior online payment. You can therefore make the payment mandatory to ensure binding bookings, or offer it as a voluntary option.

With Payrexx, all relevant payment methods are available in the booking process with a single acceptance contract – including TWINT for Swiss guests and international cards for guests from abroad: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, TWINT, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PostFinance Card, Invoice, bank transfer, Centi, HeidiPay, WIRpay, Masterpass, Reka and Klarna. Which methods appear depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.

Planyo is used for holiday apartments and hotels as well as for tennis courts, parking spaces, conference rooms, car rentals, yacht charters, therapy appointments, courses and guided tours. Bookings can be made in days, nights, hours or minutes, which makes the system suitable for almost any form of appointment and resource rental.

Integration into planyo is available in the Payrexx STANDARD and PREMIUM plans and is not included in the free plan. You can see which functions are included in which plan on the pricing page.

Payrexx pays out the payments received via Planyo directly to your bank account on file. The payout takes place at regular intervals, with transaction fees already deducted. You can find out in detail how payouts work in our documentation.

If you process your bookings via Planyo and Payrexx, every transaction is secured according to the highest global security standard for payment data: Payrexx is fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Personal data, both yours and that of your customers, is stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. The 3-D Secure process adds an additional identification step to payments, thereby minimizing fraud risks and chargebacks.
