The Discover® Network increases its acceptance in Switzerland
In collaboration with Payrexx, an established Swiss payment provider, Discover® Network is expanding its acceptance in Switzerland, allowing cardholders to shop at over 6,000 Payrexx merchants.

It is considered the fastest-growing global payment network in the world*. And thanks to Payrexx, this acceptance is now also increasing in Switzerland.
The payment provider based in Thun is firmly anchored in the Swiss market. Over 60,000 merchants worldwide trust Payrexx — including large corporations as well as local SMEs, non-profit organizations, and start-ups. The Discover Network will use this foundation as a springboard to further establish itself in Switzerland.

The Discover Network offers online merchants numerous advantages: They gain access to a new global customer base, increasing their reach and indirectly boosting sales. Merchants also benefit from the loyalty for which Discover Network users are known. At the same time, they can offer their buyers more flexibility in payment options.
The integration of the Discover Network into Payrexx's software is a multi-step process. In 2024, the new payment method was already enabled for 6,000 merchants, with further roll-outs and improvements planned for 2025. For the merchants, this means no additional work or costs: They don't have to do anything and do not pay extra for the additional service. Instead, they immediately benefit from all the advantages of the Discover Network.
