Click to Pay with Visa is a game changer when it comes to speed in the online payment process: While customers were previously often forced to laboriously enter their credit or debit card data, a one-time registration is now sufficient. A simplicity from which the QR Pay solution of the national payment provider Payrexx will benefit in the future. Payrexx QR Pay works similarly to what the Swiss are already familiar with from TWINT: Simply scan the QR code with the phone and pay. However, Payrexx's solution goes a step further. Instead of exclusively using an app, these QR codes can be scanned directly with the smartphone's camera, and a variety of payment methods can be stored. The biggest problem with this innovative solution: Anyone who previously wanted to pay with a credit or debit card via Payrexx QR Pay had to manually type in their card data - a time-consuming hurdle that Payrexx is now overcoming together with Visa. Thanks to the integration of Click to Pay, registered customers can now also pay quickly and easily via QR code with their card.

To establish the improved QR Pay solution from Payrexx both with existing and new merchants in the best possible way, a one-year promotion was launched together with Visa. In this context, Payrexx lowers the transaction costs to a low 1.25% + 0.00 CHF per payment - for all relevant Swiss payment methods! Because Payrexx QR Pay works not only with Visa but also with Mastercard, TWINT, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Additionally, more than 200 national and international payment methods, including PayPal, Klarna, POWERPAY, or Centi, can be stored.

As a small payment provider with regional roots that started as a startup and worked its way up, Payrexx has a special focus on small companies. Accordingly, the Thun-based payment provider has also mostly focused on SMEs, non-profit organizations, associations, and clubs in recent years.
