Focus Switzerland

82 percent of the participating online shops operate in the B2C segment – many are increasingly relying on AI-based personalization and omnichannel strategies.

49 percent of the surveyed online shops are active in the B2B sector, 37 percent sell in parallel to end customers (B2C). The boundaries between B2B and B2C are increasingly blurring.

Only 9 percent of surveyed online shops engage in D2C sales – a decline compared to 2024. Manufacturers increasingly combine D2C with marketplaces and B2B sales.
