There is no plugin to install for bexio – the connection to Payrexx runs via an automation platform: Make, Zapier, or Pipedream. While this might sound like a detour, it is actually the more flexible approach in practice. You do not need any programming skills, a first scenario is usually up and running in less than an hour, and you are not dependent on a plugin manufacturer to deliver new features. Is there a Payrexx plugin for bexio?
Payrexx does not currently offer a direct integration for bexio. However, bexio can be connected via an integration using Make, Zapier or Pipedream. The range of functions corresponds to that of a plugin: you create payment links from within bexio, synchronise payment statuses between both systems and retrieve payouts in bexio – without a single line of code. How do I connect Payrexx with bexio?
You create an API key in the Payrexx Comerciante administration under "API & Plugins" and use it to connect Payrexx and bexio in Make, zapier or Pipedream. Then you define which trigger triggers which action – for example, "New payment at Payrexx" → "Mark invoice in bexio as paid". You do not need any programming skills for this, as all steps are configured with a click.
Which processes can I automate between Payrexx and bexio?
The integration synchronises the payment status of invoices sent from bexio and of Payrexx transactions in both directions and retrieves payouts directly in bexio. In addition, subscriptions, Paylinks and QR codes can be created and deleted from within bexio, and pre-authorised payments can be debited. This eliminates the need to manually enter incoming payments in your accounting.
Which payment methods can I offer with Payrexx and bexio?

Which methods your customers see when paying depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.
Can I accept TWINT payments with bexio?
bexio itself does not process card and wallet payments – but with Payrexx as your payment provider, you can offer your customers TWINT, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PostFinance Pay. To do this, you place a Payrexx Paylink or QR code on the bexio invoice, which can be used to pay directly. Once the payment is received, the invoice is automatically marked as paid in bexio.
Can I automatically mark bexio invoices as paid?
As soon as a payment is received by Payrexx, the integration updates the status of the corresponding invoice in bexio to "paid". The reconciliation works in both directions, so that payments recorded in bexio also remain synchronised with Payrexx. This saves manual rework and prevents errors in your accounts receivable.
How much does it cost to use Payrexx with bexio?
Payrexx does not charge any additional fees for the bexio integration itself – only a commission per transaction is deducted, which you can find for each payment method on our pricing page. The connection via Make or Zapier is included in the Payrexx plans STANDARD and PREMIUM. Make, Zapier, and Pipedream also offer free entry-level accounts; for more extensive workflows, their own pricing plans apply.
How is the money from Payrexx payments booked in bexio?
Payrexx pays out the received payments to your bank account on file. Via the integration, you retrieve these payouts directly in bexio and assign them to your accounting instead of reconciling them manually. How secure is Payrexx for Comerciantes?
If you connect Payrexx with bexio, every transaction is secured according to the highest global security standard for payment data: Payrexx is fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Personal data, both yours and that of your customers, is stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. The 3-D Secure process adds an additional identification step to payments, thereby minimising fraud risks and chargebacks.
