Questions and answers about the Planyo integration
Is there a Payrexx integration for Planyo?
The online booking system Planyo can be connected to Payrexx so that guests can pay for their reservation directly during the booking process. You can charge the full amount or a deposit, and also allow bookings without payment. The setup is described in the Payrexx documentation.
How do I set up Payrexx in Planyo?
First, create an API key in the Payrexx Comerciante administration under "API and Integrations", and then set up a webhook for planyo under "Webhooks". After that, log in to the planyo admin area, open "Quick Setup" in the left main menu, and activate Payrexx as the payment provider in the "Online Payment" section.
Which webhook URL do I need to store for Planyo?
The webhook URL must be exactly https://www.planyo.com/payment-payrexx-ipn.php so that Payrexx can transmit the transaction notifications to Planyo. Select "JSON" as the webhook content type. Without a correctly configured webhook, the payment status will not be updated in Planyo.
Can I request only a deposit instead of the total amount?
Planyo supports both charging the full amount and partial down payments, which you define as a fraction of the reservation. This is common for holiday flats, seminar rooms or yacht charters, where a reservation fee is due upon booking and the remainder is paid on site or at a later date.
Can I also allow bookings without online payment?
The payment function can be configured in such a way that reservations are possible either with or without prior online payment. You can therefore make payment mandatory to ensure binding bookings, or offer it as a voluntary option.
Which payment methods can guests use when booking?
With Payrexx, all relevant payment methods are available in the booking process with a single acceptance agreement – including TWINT for Swiss guests and international cards for guests from abroad: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, TWINT, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PostFinance Card, Invoice, bank transfer, Centi, HeidiPay, WIRpay, Masterpass, Reka and Klarna. Which methods appear depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.

Planyo is used for holiday flats and hotels as well as for tennis courts, car parks, conference rooms, car rentals, yacht charters, therapy appointments, courses and guided tours. Bookings can be made in days, nights, hours or minutes, which makes the system suitable for almost any form of appointment and resource rental.
Which Payrexx package do I need for Planyo?
Integration into planyo is available in the Payrexx STANDARD and PREMIUM plans and is not included in the free plan
How is the money from Planyo bookings paid out?
Payrexx pays out the payments received via Planyo directly to your specified bank account. The payout takes place at regular intervals, with transaction fees already deducted. You can find out in detail how payouts work in our documentation.
How secure is Payrexx for landlords and providers?
If you process your bookings via planyo and Payrexx, every transaction is secured according to the highest global security standard for payment data: Payrexx is fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Personal data, both yours and that of your customers, is stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. The 3-D Secure process adds an additional identification step to payments, thereby minimising fraud risks and chargebacks.
