Is there a Payrexx plugin for MODX?
For MODX, Payrexx is available as a payment method for Commerce, the e-commerce system from modmore. You can download the Payrexx extension from the modmore website and install it in your MODX installation. The setup is described in the Payrexx documentation.
How do you integrate Payrexx into modmore Commerce?
You create an API key in the Payrexx merchant administration under "API and Integrations" and copy it to your clipboard. Then, you install the Payrexx extension for Commerce in your MODX installation and store the API key there. After that, Payrexx is available as a payment method in the checkout.
What requirements do you need for the Payrexx extension?
An existing MODX installation on which the Commerce extension from modmore is already set up is required. Only then can the Payrexx package be downloaded and installed from the official modmore website. In addition, you need a Payrexx account with a valid API key.
How does the checkout with Payrexx in modmore Commerce work?
Your customers select Payrexx at the checkout step and are then redirected to the secure payment page. After the payment is completed, they are redirected back to the shop, and the order is assigned the corresponding status. The entire process is automated.
Which payment methods does the modmore integration support?
Through Payrexx, all relevant payment methods are available in the checkout of your MODX shop with a single acceptance contract: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, TWINT, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PostFinance Card, Invoice, bank transfer, Centi, HeidiPay, WIRpay, Masterpass, Reka and Klarna. Which methods are displayed depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.

TWINT can also be offered in a MODX shop with Commerce via Payrexx, as well as PostFinance Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. This gives you access to typical Swiss payment habits on an internationally oriented platform.
Which Payrexx plan do you need for modmore?
Integration with modmore is available in the Payrexx STANDARD and PREMIUM plans and is not included in the free plan. You can see which features are included in which plan on the pricing page.
Are there any additional fees for the Payrexx extension?
Payrexx does not charge any additional fees for the extension – you are only charged a commission per transaction, which varies depending on the payment method and can be viewed on our pricing page. In addition, there are the license costs for Commerce from modmore as well as your chosen Payrexx package.
How will the money from modmore transactions be paid out to you?
Payrexx pays out the payments received via your MODX shop directly to your deposited bank account. The payout takes place at regular intervals, with transaction fees already deducted. You can find out in detail how payouts work in our documentation.
How secure is Payrexx for merchants?
If you integrate Payrexx into your MODX shop with Commerce, every transaction is secured according to the highest global security standard for payment data: Payrexx is fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Personal data, both yours and that of your customers, is stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. The 3-D Secure process adds an additional identification step to payments, thereby minimising fraud risks and chargebacks.
