QuinBook

The booking and administration software quinbook can be connected to Payrexx, so that guests pay for their booking directly during the booking process. Additionally, refunds can be processed via the system. The setup is described in the Payrexx documentation.

You create an API key in the Payrexx merchant administration under "API and integrations" and copy it to the clipboard using the "Copy" button. Then, you create a webhook for quinbook under "Webhooks" and store the access data in your quinbook account.

Refunds can be triggered directly via quinbook without you having to switch to the Payrexx administration. This is helpful for escape rooms and experience offers, where short-term cancellations and postponements are part of everyday life.

With Payrexx, all relevant payment methods are available in the booking process with a single acceptance contract: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, TWINT, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PostFinance Card, Invoice, bank transfer, Centi, HeidiPay, WIRpay, Masterpass, Reka and Klarna. Which methods are displayed depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.

TWINT can be activated for quinbook via Payrexx and is particularly relevant for spontaneous leisure bookings. Since many guests book at short notice and on mobile devices, paying without having to enter card details reduces the abandonment rate in the booking process.

quinbook was specially developed for escape rooms and is also suitable for other leisure and activity providers with slot-based offers. The software is web-based and mobile-friendly, allowing bookings and payments to be managed at reception via tablet or smartphone.

The integration into quinbook is available in the Payrexx plans STANDARD and PREMIUM and is not included in the free plan. You can see which features are included in each plan on the pricing page.

Payrexx pays out the payments received via quinbook directly to your deposited bank account. The payout takes place at regular intervals, with the transaction fees already deducted. You can find out in detail how payouts work in our documentation.

If you process your bookings via quinbook and Payrexx, every transaction is secured according to the highest global security standard for payment data: Payrexx is fully PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Personal data, both yours and that of your customers, is stored in a GDPR-compliant manner. The 3-D Secure process adds an additional identification to payments, thereby minimising fraud risks and chargebacks.
