bexio integration with Make or zapier

Payrexx does not yet offer a direct integration for bexio. However, bexio can be connected via an integration using Make, Zapier or Pipedream. The range of functions corresponds to that of a plugin: you create payment links from within bexio, reconcile payment statuses between both systems and retrieve payouts in bexio – without a single line of code. All setup steps are described in the Payrexx documentation for bexio.

You create an API key in the Payrexx Comerciante administration under "API & Plugins" and use it to connect Payrexx and bexio in Make, Zapier or Pipedream. You then define which trigger triggers which action – for example, "New payment at Payrexx" → "Mark invoice in bexio as paid". You do not need any programming knowledge for this, as all steps are configured with a click.

The integration synchronises the payment status of invoices sent from bexio and of Payrexx transactions in both directions and retrieves payouts directly in bexio. In addition, subscriptions, Paylinks and QR codes can be created and deleted from within bexio, and pre-authorised payments can be debited. This eliminates the need to manually enter incoming payments in your accounting system.

Via Payrexx, you offer all relevant payment methods on your bexio invoices with a single acceptance contract: Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay, TWINT, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, PostFinance Card, Invoice, bank transfer, Centi, HeidiPay, WIRpay, Masterpass, Reka and Klarna. Which methods your customers see when paying depends on which ones you have activated in your Payrexx account.

bexio does not process card and wallet payments itself – however, with Payrexx as your payment provider, you can offer your customers TWINT, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PostFinance Pay. To do this, you place a Payrexx Paylink or QR code on the bexio invoice, which is used to pay directly. Once the payment has been received, the invoice is automatically marked as paid in bexio.

As soon as a payment is received by Payrexx, the integration updates the status of the corresponding invoice in bexio to "paid". The reconciliation works in both directions, so payments recorded in bexio also remain synchronised with Payrexx. This saves manual rework and prevents errors in your accounts receivable.

Payrexx does not charge any additional fees for the bexio integration itself – only a commission per transaction is deducted, which you can find for each payment method on our pricing page. The connection via Make or Zapier is included in the Payrexx STANDARD and PREMIUM plans. Make, Zapier and Pipedream also offer free starter accounts; for more extensive workflows, their own pricing plans apply.

Payrexx pays out the incoming payments to your stored bank account. Via the integration, you can retrieve these payouts directly in bexio and assign them to your accounting instead of reconciling them manually.
